It is with regret and sadness we wish to inform you that Boyne City Triathlon, scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2020, has been postponed until Sunday, September 5, 2021.
We are faced with this difficult decision due to the Covid pandemic that has not only impacted the US but also the racing landscape.
As many of you know Rob Swartz, founder of Team Lucky 7, and his wife Dani have dedicated a tremendous amount of financial and personal equity into this race. As you also may know, with Rob’s neurological medical condition and the associated immunity compromised side effects, we collectively feel that it is in the best interest of everyone involved to cancel the race for 2020. Our disappointment is compounded by the cancellations of our other multisport events in Sanford and Caseville this year, but we feel it is prudent and necessary.
Rob and Dani through Boyne City Triathlon have donated thousands of dollars to neurological research. Their passion for the sport, their community and helping others has been inspirational to all of us here at TRITOFINISH. We hope that they and you are able to weather this pandemic safely and securely and we hope to see you all next year.

REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY
We completely understand that plans change and athletes will sometimes be unable to compete in an event they've signed up for. Unfortunately, refunds will not be provided for any event unless the event is cancelled for reasons within our control. Dangerous weather, natural disasters, and local emergencies are examples of reasons an event may be cancelled that are NOT within our control.
Should an athlete have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for, we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar TriToFinish-owned event up to and including the same event the following season. A doctor's slip may be required as proof of injury or ailment. Failure to provide proof if requested will result in non-transfer of the event.
Transferring registrations to other athletes is NOT allowed.

“The Team Lucky 7 Boyne City Triathlon is the most picturesque venue I’ve ever been to. All of the staff and volunteers were not only friendly and helpful, but also very encouraging, even cheering you on as you race. Tri To Finish puts on a top-notch event. It is also a great cause with proceeds going to neurological research.”
“Boyne is my favorite it’s so beautiful, the run and bike courses offer beautiful sites of the city and I can get distracted looking at the boats on the lake! The swim is pretty too!”
